Regeneration of resin uses on-site packed bed, countercurrent technology, which minimizes chemical use and waste volume compared to competitive systems. The patented KINETICO valve offers countercurrent regeneration which uses 50% less chemicals and 50% less water than conventional deionization systems. Skid mounted systems eliminate costly servicing of DI bottles and are exempt from on-site hazardous waste regulations.
